Creative Stitch Play - Machine Cover
Create a one of a kind dust cover for your sewing machine by using the wonderful specialty stitches on your machine. Pattern will be customized to fit your specific machine. Confident Beginner skills. Class fee of $45 covers both sessions. Pre-registration is required.
There are two sizes of machine cover: small to medium and large. These are the supply lists for each size:
Small to Medium:
1 Fat Quarter Batik/Ombre with multiple colors but no specific pattern or design
1 yd Contrast Quilt fabric for Front Contrast strips, binding and backing
1.5 yds Grosgrain Ribbon for side ties
1 yd Wonder Under or Heat and Bond Light
1 yd Shape Flex SF101 fusible interfacing
OESD Ultra Clean and Tear Stabilizer
Batting or Fusible Fleece scrap to measure 20” x 30”
Couching Materials: Yarn, Silk Sari Yarn, eyelash yarn, mini rick rack or thin ribbon (Michelle will have some to share)
Size 20-22 Chenille hand needles for hand embroidery
Pearl Cotton #8 for hand embroidery
6 -8 inch Hand embroidery hoop

1-2 Bobbins wound with thread color to match Batik fabric
Multiple colors and types/weight of thread, variegated, Isacord
