My First T-Shirt Quilt
Educator: Mindy Peterson
Many people have T-shirts that hold memories, though they no longer wear them. Instead of letting those shirts sit in a drawer, you can breathe new life into them by turning them into a T-shirt quilt.
This is your opportunity to make a t-shirt quilt top from start to finish. You will learn how to prep and cut your t-shirts into blocks, choose fabric for the sashing and border, cut your fabric into proper sizes, place your blocks into a pleasing, eye-catching design, and sew together to complete your quilt top. This will be a great memory quilt for a loved one who may be graduating, going off to college, getting married, or to comfort that person who is under medical care.
