Patterns from Funky Friends Factory - By Pauline McArthur
Handmade plush toys are great holiday presents. Choose Pete the Pup or Ben the Bear to complete in class. Learn tips and tricks for creating these ‘hug me’ plushies your favorite child will adore. You can always make one for yourself later. They are just too cute to resist! Sewing Skill Level: Confident Beginner to Advanced
Either pattern can be done as a patchwork. The specific fabric measurements are in the pattern. I have done both in several colors of quilters cotton. I have also used just one color, really cute! (If you want to do either in a stretchy fabric, you may need lightweight iron-on adhesive interfacing.)
