My Happy Place - OESD Block of The Month
Dive into the joy of quilting and embroidery with OESD's new Quilt Block of the Month course - My Happy Place! Perfect for all skill levels, this engaging machine embroidery program offers 13 blocks/projects packed with expert tips and techniques. Each month for 2025 you’ll build your skills to create your custom masterpiece.

- Quilt block stitching and construction
- Trapunto
- And so much more!
You have the option to sign up for an in-person or virtual version of this class. If you sign up for the in-person class, you have the option to bring your machine to work on the project while in class. If you live out of town or would rather work on your projects from home, the virtual class would be the perfect option.
Either way, we'll add all of you to our "My Happy Place" private Facebook group, so you'll be able to keep up with the projects from home, and be able to engage with the other sewists in the group. (Link to be poster HERE in January!)
This class runs from January - December, 2025, but you are welcome to sign up at any point throughout the year (if there's still room!) and Emily will catch you up with the previous projects.

| Requirements: | Must bring: - Embroidery Machine - Hoops - Minimum needed is a 5x7 - Scissors Fabric yardage for entire quilt. Here are suggested colors but feel free to choose your own. This is a great project to use blenders or solid colors. Aqua - 1/2 yard Blue - 1 3/4 yards Dark Green - 1 yard with border (or, 1/2 yard for border, 1/2 yard for everything else Dark Pink - 1/4 yard Green - 1/2 yard Orange - 1/4 yard Pink - 3/4 yard (or, 1/3 yard for border, 1/2 yard for everything else) White - 1/4 yard Yellow - 1/2 yard Backing - 4 yards Batting - 65X65 Binding - 1/2 yard |
