June Tailor Quilt As You Go Zippered Cosmetic Bags
Have you tried quilt as you go yet? This class will use the Sew by Number Set of 2 Zippered Cosmetic bags by June Tailor. Each cosmetic bag has pre-printed stabilizer to guide you through the quilting and clear directions for lining and completing your cosmetic bag. You won’t believe how easy it is to sew in the zippers. If you are not yet familiar with Spray Basting, we will walk you through it in class (a definite game changer).
Supplies Needed:
Sewing machine in good working order with Manual. Power Cord, foot pedal and bobbins.
Sewing machine needles
June Tailor Quilt As You Go Cosmetic Kit (available at Quilters HQ)
Fabric as listed in the pattern
Basic sewing supplies (i.e. 6” x 24” ruler, paper cutting scissors, sharp fabric scissors,)
Also: pins/clips, fabric glue stick, press cloth
Thread and bobbins to coordinate with fabric.
Rotary cutter/small cutting mat
Small iron and pressing mat (optional)
Starch Savvy or Best Press
Seam wand/hand seam presser
