| Instructor: | Denise Stahl |
| Instructor Bio: | Denise comes to us from Lawrence Kansas, where she lives the quilt life with her pup Abbie. After 16 years in the US Army and 17 years at the University of Kansas, she is living her dream – designing and making quilts, teaching, and traveling to quilt destinations across the country. Denise has been making quilts for 20 years and calls herself the Curious Kansas Quilter because she’s always curious about new techniques, patterns, fabric, designers, workshops, and retreats. She is a national speaker and teacher, both in person and virtually, and she loves sharing her excitement and passion for quilting with quilters young and “experienced”. Denise is a Bernina lover and she sews on one of her four Bernina machines – whether she is at home or on the road. She loves the creativity Bernina enables her to experience. In the Summer of 2024, she joined the Friends of the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln Nebraska as a new board member. |
