Machine Embroidery Fun Part 2 Embroidering on Knits
Let’s embroider on a T-shirt! Come learn some techniques for successful machine embroidery on knit fabrics. Mary will assist you in hooping, stabilizing, centering, and rotating your design. Students will choose from 2 OESD embroidery designs. Choice is based on the maximum size of their hoop and the size of their t-shirt.

• Lightweight T-shirt • USB stick to load your choice of OESD designs #12392-01 or #12392-04 (see above pictures) purchased at QHQ • Cut-away stabilizer • Wash-Away “topper” stabilizer, optional, but preferred • Scraps of fabric for appliques • Hot Fix Crystals • Embroidery thread & embroidery needles • Quilt basting spray |

| Instructor Bio: | Mary has been sewing for over 60 years and has made all her clothes since she was in the 8th grade. For the past four years, she has taught beginner sewing, garment sewing, bag making, and various projects, including pillows, table toppers, placemats, and other home decor items. Mary is knowledgeable about all major brands of sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, and cover stitch machines. Additionally, she has over 40 years of experience teaching in public high schools. |
