XMasTree: Wonky Christmas Tree Table Runner/Quilt
Quick to piece, festive Christmas trees that can be used to make a table runner, or expanded into a lap-size quilt.
Students will learn the technique in class to make wonky (non-uniform) trees out of large scraps, or choose contrasting, coordinating fabric for a more curated look. The blocks are cut in pairs, so the background of one block is the tree fabric on its partner block.
