About Designer Lila Tueller

Lila Tueller is a lifelong artist, sewing enthusiast, and fabric designer known for her vibrant colors and expressive style. Her creative journey began at an early age, drawing portraits by eight and sewing her own clothing by twelve.

After studying drawing, watercolor painting, and ceramics in college, Lila continued creating while raising her seven children. She filled her home with original artwork and handmade décor while designing clothing and accessories for herself and her family.

Her love of textiles, fashion, and fine art eventually inspired her to pursue a longtime dream of designing fabric. Since 2008, Lila has created colorful collections for quilting, apparel, accessories, and home sewing projects.

Her designs are bold, lively, and full of personality. Some feel timeless and classic, while others are playful, whimsical, or inspired by the colorful style of the 1970s. Nearly every collection features the rich, energetic palette that has become a signature of her work.

Through every design, Lila hopes to inspire makers to experiment with color, express their creativity, and create something uniquely their own.
