Lisa Ruble discovered her love for creativity early in life, exploring everything from drawing and beading to photography and fabric arts. She began sewing as a young girl—crafting clothes for her Cabbage Patch Kid—and her passion evolved into quilting more than 20 years ago. Known for her modern quilting style and love of improv piecing, Lisa now freelances in the quilting industry as a designer, writer, and editor. She also creates and sells her own original quilt patterns. When she’s not in her studio, Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors or playing sports with her husband and three sons—who all share her enthusiasm for quilting!
