Stacy Iest Hsu
Bay Area-based designer Stacy Iest Hsu has spent nearly two decades bringing whimsy and heart to the world of textiles. Raised on her family’s farm in California’s Central Valley, Stacy spent her childhood sketching and dreaming of a creative future. After college, she followed that dream to San Francisco, where a textile and surface design course sparked her true passion.
Since then, Stacy has designed everything from stationery and rugs to apparel fabrics for major brands like Janie and Jack, Target, Walmart, and Tiny Prints. But it was when she began designing fabric for Moda that she felt truly at home. Stacy’s collections are known for their sweet, whimsical style, charming novelty prints, and her signature cut-and-sew panels—perfect for makers of all ages.
Now a proud mom of three, Stacy finds endless inspiration in her family’s creativity and the joyful magic of storytelling through fabric.
